Refurbished ABS Vortex-X Aqua gaming desktop

This refurbished ABS Vortex-X Aqua desktop arrives with Windows 11 Home installed and an Intel Core i9-14900KF 24-core processor paired with a Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 24GB GDDR6X graphics card. It targets enthusiasts who want a complete high-end 4K gaming system without assembling individual components. The 32GB TeamGroup Delta RGB DDR5 6000 memory and 2TB Kingston NVMe SSD provide ample capacity for modern titles.

Installation notes and common issues

The system ships fully assembled so the only physical steps are removing transit brackets, connecting peripherals and attaching the power cable. The EKWB 360MM liquid cooler is pre-filled and mounted; check that the pump cable is seated on the CPU_FAN header before first boot. The ABS Cyclops 1000W Gold ATX 3.0 unit uses the 12VHPWR connector for the GPU — verify the latch clicks fully. Some buyers report needing a BIOS update on the MSI Z790-P Wifi DDR5 board for optimal memory stability.

The 24GB GDDR6X frame buffer decides 4K viability

The Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 includes 24GB of GDDR6X video memory, which is the single specification that determines whether this desktop can hold high-resolution textures and ray-traced assets at 4K without paging to system RAM. Buyers who need more VRAM for professional 3D rendering or AI workloads should look elsewhere. The 32GB DDR5 6000 kit occupies two of four slots, leaving room for expansion if the motherboard firmware supports higher densities.
