The Abus 72/40 KA is a yellow anodized aluminium lockout padlock with a 1 in hardened-steel shackle. It suits maintenance teams that need multiple locks operated by one key. The non-removable keyway keeps the key captive while the shackle is open.

Simple shackle operation with captive key

Push the shackle down to lock; the key stays in the cylinder until the shackle is released again. Corrosion- and heat-resistant finishes protect the aluminium body in harsh environments. The only common issue is forcing the shackle when debris blocks the 13/16 in clearance.

Mechanical push-button limits
