The Abus 72/40 KD orange lockout padlock is a mechanical push-button lock designed for industrial lockout/tagout applications. The one-inch shackle height fits standard lockout hasps and energy-isolation points.

Verify Keying and Shackle Fit

Confirm that your safety programme requires keyed-different cylinders rather than keyed-alike or master-keyed sets. Measure the target hasp or isolation point to ensure the 13/16-inch width across the shackle and the quarter-inch shackle diameter can pass through. Check that the 3/4-inch horizontal and 1 1/16-inch vertical clearances match the space around your energy-isolation hardware.
