Outdoor Enclosed Cork Board

The ACCO 2121 is a 36 by 24 inch enclosed cork bulletin board built for outdoor use. Its natural cork surface is mounted on high-density fiberboard and accepts standard push pins. A silver aluminium frame surrounds a hinged acrylic-glass door that locks to protect posted documents from weather and tampering.

Locking Weather-Resistant Door

The shatterproof acrylic door is water-resistant and tear-resistant, sealing the cork surface against rain and wind. A keyed lock restricts access so only authorised users can change notices. The hinged design swings open for quick updates while the frame remains fixed to the wall.

Self-Healing Cork Surface Limits

The natural cork is self-healing, so pin holes close up after repeated use, but the board only holds items that can be secured with push pins. Magnetic fixings and adhesives will not work on the cork face. The single-door enclosure fits a 24 by 36 inch display area and does not accommodate larger formats.

Questions about this item

Will the cork surface need replacing after heavy pin use?

The self-healing natural cork closes pin holes on its own, so the surface stays usable without replacement.

What stops the board from working first when left outside continuously?

The shatterproof acrylic door and water-resistant, locking aluminium frame are built to withstand weather, so no single component fails first under normal outdoor exposure.

Does the board get hot or draw power when mounted in direct sun all day?

It has no electrical parts, so it generates no heat and uses no power regardless of sun exposure.
