Pressboard Hanging Data Binder

This ACCO 54072 binder uses Presstex covers with an acrylic coating to resist moisture. Retractable storage hooks support both single-point and drop-file hanging systems. Flexible nylon posts adjust to hold up to 6 inches of burst or unburst continuous-form sheets. The cover contains recycled materials.

Suits offices filing continuous forms.

The top and bottom loading design works with 14-7/8 x 11 inch unburst sheets and multiple center-post spacings. Buyers who need standard three-ring binding for loose-leaf pages should look at a different style. The hanging hooks add bulk if the binder will only sit on a shelf.

6-inch capacity with adjustable nylon posts

Flexible posts expand to accommodate a full 6 inches of material while keeping the binder compact when less is stored. Seven center-post settings from 7 inches to 14-3/8 inches let the same binder handle different form widths. This capacity and adjustability determine whether the binder fits the project.

Questions about this item

What center-post spacings does the 54072 binder accept for hanging?

The adjustable nylon posts fit seven standard spacings: 14-3/8", 13-1/8", 11-1/2", 10-1/2", 9-1/2", 8-1/2", and 7".

How do the retractable hooks engage single-point and drop-file rails?

Pull the hooks outward until they click; they lock into single-point slots or rest on drop-file rails without tools.

When should the acrylic-coated Presstex cover be replaced?

Replace the binder if the coating cracks, the hooks no longer latch, or the posts fail to hold a full 6" stack securely.
