Two-Piece Prong Fasteners for Standard Two-Hole

ACCO 70022 fasteners bind correspondence, orders and assorted papers using a complete two-piece prong design. The base and compressor fit standard two-hole punching for immediate filing. A coining operation removes sharp edges for safer handling. Each box contains 50 gray fasteners ready for office use.

Steel Construction With Coined Edges for Daily

The fasteners use steel that is 16% thicker than standard alternatives to resist bending during repeated filing. A matte finish reduces glare while the coining operation creates smooth, safe edges that protect fingers and documents. No sharp edges remain on the prong base or compressor after manufacturing.

50-Piece Box Supplies Complete Fastener Sets

Every unit includes both the prong base and compressor so no separate components are required. The 50-count package supports high-volume filing without frequent reordering. Gray colour coding matches common office filing systems for visual consistency.

Questions about this item

How do I install the ACCO 70022 two-piece prong fasteners and what step is often missed?

Align the prong base with standard two-hole punched papers, insert prongs through holes, then secure with the compressor — many forget to fully seat the compressor onto the base.

What maintenance or replacement will the ACCO 70022 fasteners need over time?

The 16% thicker steel resists bending, but if prongs deform from repeated heavy use, replace the full fastener set from the 50-count box.

What limit appears first when binding thick stacks with the ACCO 70022 fasteners?

The two-inch capacity is the hard limit; exceeding it prevents the compressor from closing properly on the prong base.
