Two-Piece Self-Locking File Fasteners

ACCO 70723 fasteners use a two-piece, self-locking design to bind papers into a secure, book-like format. Each box contains 50 complete sets with base and prongs. The gray, heavy-gauge construction provides added durability for everyday office filing tasks.

Fits Standard Two-Hole Punching

These fasteners align with standard two-hole punched documents using an 8-1/2 inch centre spacing. The 3 inch capacity limits the maximum thickness of paper that can be bound securely. Coined edges prevent snagging, but the fixed capacity cannot expand for larger volumes.

Simple Hand Installation

Installation requires only aligning the prongs through punched holes and pressing the base into place by hand. No tools are needed for the self-locking mechanism. Misaligned holes or paper stacks exceeding the stated capacity are the most common causes of binding failure.
