Brass Prong Fasteners 100/Box

ACCO 71505 brass prong fasteners come in a box of 100 pieces for office filing tasks. The solid brass construction provides strength for securing paper documents. Pointed shank ends penetrate multiple sheets cleanly during use. Flexible prongs allow versatile fastening across different project requirements.

Capacity and Headroom

The 100-count box supplies enough fasteners for routine document binding and file organisation. Each fastener handles several sheets of paper with its pointed brass shanks. Larger head size prevents pull-through from punched holes during handling. Flexible prongs accommodate varying stack thicknesses within the fastener length limit.

Brass Material Benefits

Solid brass material resists corrosion better than many alternative metal fasteners. Gold colour provides a professional appearance for filed documents. The 1-1/4 inch length suits standard filing applications and punched paper. Government specification compliance ensures consistent quality across the entire box.

Questions about this item

Will the 100 brass fasteners hold together with older steel binder clips in the same filing system?

The solid brass construction resists corrosion and the larger heads prevent pull-through, so they stay secure alongside steel clips without damaging the holes.

How can I verify the 71505 fasteners are seated correctly after punching through several sheets?

The flexible prongs spread flat against the back sheet and the gold-coloured heads sit flush, showing each fastener has fully penetrated and locked in place.

Does the box contain only the 100 brass prong fasteners or are additional punching tools included?

The package supplies 100 solid brass prong fasteners; a separate paper punch or awl is needed to create the holes before inserting them.
