Pocket and Prong Folder

This teal folder uses three prongs to secure loose hole-punched sheets and two horizontal pockets to keep handouts in place. The laminated cover resists water from accidental spills. It holds standard 8-1/2 in. x 11 in. papers and fits inside a three-ring binder. The geometric pattern and customizable label help identify subjects quickly.

Capacity and Headroom

Two pockets and three prongs handle daily class handouts and homework for a single subject. The prongs hold punched pages securely while pockets store unpunched sheets. Heavy loads of paper may stress the prongs or cause the cover to bow. It is not designed for archival storage or multi-subject filing.

Upgrade Context

This replaces flimsy single-pocket folders that tear easily and lack prong fastening. The jump is worth it when you need water resistance, binder compatibility, and a durable laminate surface for a full school year. Buyers who need expanding capacity or multiple subject dividers should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the 3-hole punched edge let me keep this folder inside my existing ring binder?

Yes, the folder is 3-hole punched so it fits standard ring binders while the three internal prongs hold loose sheets.

How can I check the prongs and pockets are holding papers securely after I load them?

Open the cover and verify each of the three prongs pierces the holes cleanly, then tug gently on the two horizontal pockets — papers should stay flat without slipping out.

Does the package include any loose-leaf paper or index tabs, or do I buy those separately?

Only the teal geometric-pattern folder with three prongs and two pockets is supplied; paper and tabs are sold separately.
