The AccuMed CMS-50D1 Fingertip Pulse Oximeter measures blood oxygen saturation and pulse rate for adults and children above four years old. It is designed for home use, sports such as running, hiking or cycling, and aviation travel. The device is not intended for medical diagnosis or continuous clinical monitoring.

Measurement Range and Limits

The oximeter displays SpO2 levels with normal readings at 95% or greater and shows pulse rate, pulse intensity as a bar graph and pulse waveform. Accurate results require the user to remain stationary; readings taken while in motion are unreliable. The unit automatically powers off after five seconds of inactivity to conserve energy.

Two AAA batteries are supplied, providing up to 32 continuous hours of operation before replacement is needed.
