Slim 16-inch WQXGA gaming laptop

The Acer Nitro V Slim 16 combines an AMD Ryzen 7 260 processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 laptop GPU in a 16.0-inch WQXGA IPS panel. It targets players who want high refresh rates in a thin chassis and creators who need AI-accelerated workflows on Windows 11 Home.

16 GB DDR5 and 512 GB NVMe headroom

Sixteen gigabytes of DDR5 5600 MHz memory handles modern titles and multitasking comfortably, while the 512 GB PCIe Gen 4x4 NVMe M.2 SSD loads games and projects quickly. Heavy mod libraries or large video timelines will fill the drive, so external storage becomes necessary for those workflows.

RTX 5070 with 8 GB GDDR7 VRAM

The dedicated GeForce RTX 5070 laptop GPU provides 8 GB of GDDR7 video memory and a maximum graphics power of 85 W. Buyers who need more VRAM for 4K textures or multi-GPU compute should look elsewhere, as this configuration is fixed at 8 GB.

Questions about this item

Will the USB4 Type-C port on this laptop work with my older USB 3.0 hub and drives?

The USB4 Type-C port is backward compatible with USB 3.2 and USB 3.0 devices, so existing hubs and drives will function at their rated speeds.

How can I verify the 180 Hz panel and RTX 5070 are running at full performance after setup?

Open the NVIDIA control panel to confirm the RTX 5070 is the active GPU and set the display to 180 Hz in Windows display settings; run a benchmark to validate 85 W graphics power.

Does the box include a USB-A to Ethernet adapter or do I need to buy one for the RJ-45 port?

The RJ-45 port is built into the chassis, so no adapter is required; the package contains the laptop, power adapter and documentation only.
