90 W AC adapter for Acer laptops

This genuine Acer power adapter delivers 90 W at 19 V and 4.74 A for compatible Acer laptops. It accepts a worldwide input range of 100-240 V at 1.5 A and 50-60 Hz. The blue-tip connector measures 5.5 mm by 1.7 mm. The package includes the power cord.

90 W capacity for standard Acer notebooks

The 90 W output comfortably powers mainstream Acer laptops that require this wattage and tip size. It will not meet the demands of higher-wattage models or gaming units that need more than 90 W. Buyers whose laptops call for a larger adapter should verify their original part number before ordering.

Thermals and power draw in normal use

The adapter operates within typical efficiency limits for a 90 W unit under standard loads. It draws up to 1.5 A from the mains at full load. No active cooling fan is present, so operation is silent. The external casing dissipates heat passively during extended charging sessions.

Questions about this item

Will this 90 W adapter with the 5.5 mm x 1.7 mm tip fit my older Acer laptop that uses part number ADP-90SB BB?

Yes, the ADP-90SB BB is listed among the compatible part numbers so the tip and voltage match that model.

How can I confirm the charger is delivering the correct 19 V 4.74 A output after I plug it in?

The laptop should show it is charging and the battery icon will indicate power is being received at the rated 90 W.

Does the package include both the power brick and the AC mains cord or only the brick?

The supplier title states charger and cord so both the adapter unit and the mains cable are included.
