15.6" FHD laptop with Ryzen 7 5700U

This Acer Aspire 3 15 laptop is a new Windows 11 Pro system built around an AMD Ryzen 7 5700U eight-core processor that reaches 4.3 GHz. It pairs 36GB DDR4 memory with a 1TB PCIe SSD for fast boot and load times. Integrated AMD Radeon Graphics drives the 15.6 inch 1920 x 1080 non-touch display.

Suited for office and study, not for gaming

The configuration suits professionals and students who need a responsive machine for productivity, web browsing and video calls. Buyers who want a dedicated graphics card for modern games or intensive 3D rendering should look at a different system.

36GB DDR4 memory and 1TB PCIe SSD

The single specification that decides fit is the combined 36GB DDR4 memory and 1TB PCIe SSD. This capacity handles heavy multitasking and large project files without relying on slower external storage.

Questions about this item

Does the 15.6 inch FHD chassis have a 2.5 inch drive bay for storage expansion?

The 14.4 x 9.8 x 0.7 inch chassis uses a 1TB PCIe SSD and has no HDD bay, so a 2.5 inch drive cannot be added.

After opening the bottom cover to access the 36GB DDR4 memory, which screw is most often missed during reassembly?

The centre screw hidden beneath the centre rubber foot is the one most often missed when refitting the base panel.

How often should the AMD Radeon Graphics heatsink vents be cleaned to maintain the 4.3 GHz turbo frequency?

Clean the intake vents every three to six months with compressed air to prevent dust buildup that can throttle the 8-core processor.
