Questions about this item

Can the 32GB DDR4 memory or 2TB PCIe SSD be upgraded later?

The 32GB DDR4 memory is soldered and cannot be expanded. The 2TB PCIe SSD occupies the single M.2 slot, so any storage upgrade requires replacing the drive.

What limits sustained performance on the Ryzen 7 5825U during long workloads?

The 15 W power envelope and integrated AMD Radeon graphics share thermal headroom, so extended heavy loads will hit the CPU’s thermal throttle point before the 4.5 GHz boost can be maintained.

How loud and hot does the chassis get when the laptop runs all day?

Under continuous load the dual-fan cooling keeps the 14.25 x 9.5 x 0.75 in chassis near its thermal limit; fan noise rises to an audible level while surface temperatures stay within spec for a 3.9 lb ultraportable.
