Acer Aspire TC-1775-UR11 Desktop PC

The Acer Aspire TC-1775-UR11 is a business desktop built around a 14th Gen Intel Core i5-14400 processor with ten cores and sixteen threads. It ships with 32GB of DDR5 memory, a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD and a 2TB hard drive. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed. The integrated Intel UHD 730 graphics drive two HDMI outputs. A Velztorm 1680D polyester backpack is included.

Sustained Load Behaviour

The 300W power supply and air-cooled CPU cooler support the processor's base frequency of 2.50GHz and boost up to 4.7GHz during extended workloads. The ten-core design handles multi-threaded business applications and background tasks without thermal throttling. Integrated graphics share system memory, so sustained GPU compute reduces bandwidth available to the CPU cores.

Upgrade Context

This system replaces an older office tower that lacks DDR5 memory and NVMe storage. The jump is worthwhile when moving from a dual-core or quad-core platform with a hard-drive boot volume. It is not suited for buyers who need a discrete graphics card, additional internal drive bays beyond the supplied SSD and HDD, or a higher-wattage power supply for expansion cards.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the 300W air-cooled i5-14400 run during all-day workloads?

The 300W power supply and air cooler handle the i5-14400's 10 cores and 16 threads at up to 4.7 GHz; fan noise rises under sustained load but stays typical for a business desktop.

Which monitor cables and display must I already own to use the Intel UHD 730 graphics?

The system provides two HDMI ports and a USB 3.2 Type-C output; you need a monitor with HDMI or USB-C input and the matching cable.

Will my existing USB 2.0 peripherals work with the four USB 2.0 ports on this desktop?

Yes, the four USB 2.0 ports are fully backward compatible with USB 2.0 keyboards, mice, printers and other legacy devices.
