Business tower for office workloads

The Acer Aspire TC is a tower-form desktop built around a 14th Generation Intel Core i5-14400 10-Core processor running at 1.80 GHz with a maximum turbo of 4.70 GHz. It ships with 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB solid-state drive. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed, and a wired USB keyboard and mouse are included in the box.

Sustained performance with integrated graphics

The 300W power supply supports the 10-Core CPU and Intel UHD Graphics 730 under continuous business loads such as document editing, web browsing and video conferencing. DDR5 memory bandwidth and the 20MB Intel Smart Cache help maintain responsiveness during extended multitasking sessions. Thermal design in the tower chassis is intended to keep clocks stable without a discrete graphics card.

Single-monitor limit on the second HDMI port

Two HDMI outputs are provided, but the integrated Intel UHD Graphics 730 drives only one display at a time; the second port mirrors the first rather than extending the desktop. Buyers who need true dual-monitor independence will require a discrete graphics card, which this 300W unit and its chassis may not accommodate. Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 handle network connectivity.

Questions about this item

How loud does the 300W power supply fan get when the Core i5-14400 runs at 4.70 GHz all day?

The 300W unit is sized for the 10-core processor; under sustained load the fan ramps up but stays within typical office noise levels.

Which display cables must I already own to use both HDMI ports on the Intel UHD Graphics 730?

Two standard HDMI cables are required; the desktop ships without monitor cables.

Can my current USB 2.0 keyboard and mouse plug straight into the four USB 2.0 ports on this tower?

Yes, the four USB 2.0 ports accept legacy peripherals directly, while two USB 3.2 ports handle faster devices.
