Compact tower for everyday computing

The Acer Aspire XC-840-UB11 is a new desktop aimed at home and small-office users who need a ready-to-use Windows 11 machine for web browsing, document work and media playback. It ships with a USB keyboard and mouse so it is operational straight from the box.

1.5 TB combined storage with 512 GB SSD boot drive

The internal 512 GB SSD provides fast start-up and application loading for the operating system and core programmes. A bundled docking station adds 1 TB of extra capacity plus a 32 GB MicroSD card for backups and file transfers, while the Celeron N4505 and 8 GB DDR4 2933 memory handle light multitasking but will limit heavier creative workloads.

Front-access ports and included docking station

The tower chassis offers two front USB ports, two front audio jacks and a card reader for quick peripheral connections, while the rear adds four more USB ports, Gigabit Ethernet and three audio outputs for 5.1 surround sound. The 7-in-1 docking station expands connectivity further with its own 1 TB storage, card slots and cables, reducing cable clutter on the desk.

Questions about this item

Can I keep using my existing USB keyboard and mouse with the front USB ports on the XC-840-UB11?

Yes, the tower has two front USB ports and four rear USB ports, so your current USB keyboard and mouse will connect without an adapter.

How can I confirm the Intel Celeron N4505 and 8GB DDR4 2933 memory are recognised after first boot?

Open Settings > System > About in Windows 11 Home; the processor name and 8GB installed RAM will be listed there.

What accessories are included in the box and what must I provide myself?

The bundle supplies a USB keyboard, USB mouse, a 7-in-1 docking station with 1TB storage, a 32GB microSD card with adapter, a Type-C data cable, a 3-in-1 charging cable and a suede cleaning cloth; a monitor and any additional cables are not included.
