Replacement lamp module with 240W P-VIP bulb rated for 3500 to 6000 hours
This module fits the BenQ W1085ST projector and contains a pre-assembled P-VIP bulb inside its housing. It is intended for owners who need a direct swap when the original lamp reaches end of life. The unit arrives ready to install without extra tools or alignment steps.
The lamp draws 240 W during operation and is rated for 3,500 hours in normal mode or 6,000 hours in economy mode. Economy mode reduces brightness and lowers heat output, which also cuts fan noise in typical use. No separate cooling or power figures are provided by the supplier.
Four supply versions exist: three OEM variants from Philips, Osram, Ushio, Phoenix, Iwasaki or Matsushita, plus a compatible build using genuine OEM parts. Every unit is manufactured to ISO 9001 standards and tested for beam performance, ignition, voltage, connections and run-time. Buyers who need a specific OEM source cannot select it at checkout.

Power off and unplug the projector, let it cool completely, remove the lamp cover, unscrew the old module, insert the new 240W P-VIP lamp housing until it clicks, replace the cover, then reset the lamp timer in the menu — skipping the timer reset is the common mistake.
Replace the lamp module after 3,500 hours in normal mode or 6,000 hours in economy mode; no user-serviceable parts inside, just swap the whole housing when brightness drops or the replacement indicator appears.
The 3,500-hour normal-mode rated life is the primary limit; running in economy mode extends it to 6,000 hours, but brightness will gradually decline as the P-VIP bulb ages toward either threshold.
