Questions about this item

Does the Acer M420 lamp arrive as a complete module with housing, or must I buy the housing separately?

The lamp ships as a fully assembled module that includes the new Osram P-VIP 140 – 215W bulb already mounted in its housing, so no separate housing purchase is needed.

Which version of the M420 lamp should I choose among the OEM and compatible options?

Four versions are offered: the bulb-maker's OEM lamp, the same lamp sold by Acer, an alternative OEM lamp from a different bulb manufacturer, and a lower-cost compatible lamp built with genuine OEM parts; all meet ISO9001 quality checks.

What do the 3000 and 4000 hour figures mean for everyday use?

In normal mode the lamp is rated for 3000 hours of operation; switching to economy mode extends the rating to 4000 hours, giving longer intervals between replacements.
