Raider 16 Gaming Laptop

The Acer America Nitro 16 Raider is a 16-inch gaming laptop built around an AMD Ryzen 7 260 8-core processor that reaches 5.1 GHz and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 GPU with 8GB GDDR7 video memory. It ships with 64GB DDR5 memory and a 1TB PCIe SSD, running Windows 11 Pro on a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 non-touch display.

Suited for portable high-refresh gaming

The 16.0-inch WUXGA screen and 4.2-pound chassis suit users who want desktop-class GPU performance in a form factor that fits a standard backpack. Buyers who need a touchscreen, a larger 17-inch panel, or a lighter ultraportable for all-day battery life should consider other categories.

RTX 5050 8GB GDDR7 graphics

The single specification that decides fit is the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 laptop GPU with 8GB GDDR7 memory; it determines the rendering ceiling for modern titles and GPU-accelerated creative workloads on this machine.

Questions about this item

Will the 14.17 x 10.8 x .96 inch chassis fit in a standard 16 inch laptop sleeve?

The laptop measures 14.17 x 10.8 x .96 inches, so it fits most sleeves made for 16 inch class notebooks.

How do I add storage later, and what step do people miss?

The 1TB PCIe SSD can be supplemented via the Micro SD Card Reader; the step often missed is seating the card fully until it clicks.

What part will need replacement first on the 64GB DDR5 configuration?

The 64GB DDR5 memory is soldered, so the 1TB PCIe SSD is the only user-replaceable component likely to need service later.
