Nitro V 15 gaming laptop

The Acer Nitro V 15 is a 15.6 inch gaming laptop built around a 13th Gen Intel Core i5-13420H octa-core processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 GPU with 6GB video memory. It ships with 32GB DDR5 memory and a 1TB PCIe SSD running Windows 11 Pro. The 144Hz FHD IPS display targets players who want smooth motion in competitive titles.

Installation and common issues

The laptop arrives with the factory seal opened by engineers for the memory and storage upgrade, so the 32GB DDR5 and 1TB PCIe SSD are already installed and tested. No user assembly is required beyond the initial Windows 11 Pro setup. The most common issue is forgetting to install proprietary control software for the backlit keyboard and display colour profiles after a clean OS reinstall.

Pre-purchase checklist

Verify that your workflow can use a 15.6 inch 1920 x 1080 non-touch screen and that the 14.26 x 9.44 x 0.93 inch chassis fits your bag or desk space. Confirm you need the port selection: three USB-A 3.2, one Thunderbolt, one HDMI and one RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet. Check that Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi meet your peripheral and network requirements, and note the 720p webcam lacks a fingerprint reader.
