Gaming laptop for creators

The Acer Nitro V 15 combines a 15.6 inch FHD IPS display running at 165Hz with an Intel Core i5-13420H processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 graphics. 32GB of DDR4 memory and a 1TB PCIe SSD provide capacity for multitasking and fast asset loading. Windows 11 Pro and an Office 2024 licence are pre-installed for immediate productivity.

Check power and port needs

Verify that your docking station or monitor can accept the HDMI output and Thunderbolt connection for external displays. The system includes three USB-A 3.2 ports, Gigabit Ethernet and WiFi 6 with Bluetooth 5.4 for wired and wireless peripherals. Ensure your power adapter matches the laptop’s proprietary connector before travel.

Fits a mobile workstation setup

At 14.23 by 0.62 by 9.44 inches and 4.66 lbs the chassis slides into most 15 inch sleeves while leaving desk space for a mouse and external drive. The backlit keyboard and integrated webcam support late-night editing and video calls without extra accessories. Thunderbolt and HDMI free up the GPU to drive two additional screens for timeline previews.

Questions about this item

Does the laptop ship with the 1TB PCIe SSD and 32GB DDR4 already installed, or must I buy and fit them myself?

The 1TB PCIe SSD and 32GB DDR4 are pre-installed; the box was opened by engineers to fit and test those upgrades before dispatch.

Should I pick the 8GB GDDR6 RTX 5050 or a lower VRAM option for 1080p gaming at 165Hz?

The only GPU offered is the RTX 5050 with 8GB GDDR6, which matches the 15.6" 1920 x 1080 165Hz panel for high-refresh 1080p play.

What does the i5-13420H 4.6 GHz boost clock actually deliver when the RTX 5050 is under load?

The 8-core 12-thread i5-13420H can reach 4.6 GHz on boost, keeping frame rates steady while the RTX 5050 8GB GDDR6 handles graphics at 165Hz.
