Ryzen 5 240 mobile processor

The laptop centres on an AMD Zen 4 hexa-core Ryzen 5 240 processor with a 4.30 GHz base clock and a 5.0 GHz boost. Six cores and twelve threads keep everyday workloads and modern game logic running without bottlenecks. The chip targets players who want responsive frame rates without stepping up to eight-core silicon.

16 GB DDR5 and 2 TB PCIe SSD

Sixteen gigabytes of DDR5 memory gives comfortable headroom for current titles at 1920 x 1200 and leaves room for background apps. The 2 TB PCIe SSD holds a large library and loads levels quickly, though heavy mod packs or 4 K texture packs will eventually fill the space.

16 inch 180 Hz WUXGA display and port selection

A 16.0 inch IPS panel at 180 Hz delivers smooth motion for competitive shooters. Connectivity includes three USB-A 3.2 ports, one USB-C 4 port, HDMI 2.1 for an external monitor, and RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet for wired play. Wi-Fi 6E and a backlit keyboard round out the package.

Questions about this item

Will the USB-C 4 port and HDMI 2.1 output drive the same external monitors I use with my current laptop?

The laptop provides one USB-C 4 port and one HDMI 2.1 port for external displays, so any monitor that accepts those interfaces will work.

How can I verify the 180 Hz panel is actually running at 180 Hz after I set up Windows 11?

Open Settings > System > Display > Advanced display and confirm the refresh-rate dropdown shows 180 Hz for the built-in 16" WUXGA screen.

Does the box include a multi-format SD card reader or do I need to buy one separately?

The specifications list no multi-format SD media card reader, so you will need a separate USB adapter if you require that function.
