Acer America Nitro V 16 AI gaming laptop, 16" WUXGA 180Hz, Ryzen 5 240, RTX 5050 8GB

Series Raider 16 AI laptop

The Acer Nitro V 16 belongs to the Raider series and runs Windows 11 Home. It combines a 6-core AMD Ryzen 5 240 processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 graphics card. The 16.0 inch WUXGA IPS panel delivers a 1920 x 1200 resolution at 180Hz. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR5 memory and a 512GB PCIe SSD complete the core specification.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Competitive players who value high refresh rates will appreciate the 180Hz display and the 8GB RTX 5050 GPU. Content creators gain a 16:10 aspect ratio and a 4-zone RGB backlit keyboard for late-night sessions. Buyers needing an SD card reader or a fingerprint sensor should consider other models because those features are absent.

Deciding specification — 180Hz WUXGA display

The 16.0 inch WUXGA IPS screen running at 180Hz is the single specification that defines this laptop's gaming focus. It pairs directly with the RTX 5050 to deliver smooth motion at 1920 x 1200 without external monitors. If your workflow depends on colour-critical work or touch input, the non-touch panel and lack of calibration data may steer you to a different device.
