Processor and Display

The Acer Nitro V 16 is a 16.0-inch gaming laptop powered by an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 8-core processor that reaches 5 GHz and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU with 8GB video memory. It ships with 64GB DDR5 memory and a 2TB PCIe SSD running Windows 11 Home and an Office 2021 license. The 180Hz WUXGA IPS panel delivers 1920 x 1200 resolution for fast-paced gaming.

Suitability

This configuration suits players who want high frame rates at 1080p and creators who need 64GB memory for heavy multitasking or local AI workloads. The 180Hz refresh rate benefits competitive shooters while the 8GB GPU handles modern titles at high settings. Buyers seeking a lighter chassis or longer unplugged runtime should evaluate alternatives.

Deciding Specification

The single specification that decides fit is the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 with 8GB video memory paired with the 180Hz WUXGA display. That GPU and screen combination determines whether the laptop meets the frame-rate and visual-quality targets for the games or applications you run.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 64 GB DDR5 memory in the Nitro V 16, and which slot mistake should I avoid?

The 64 GB DDR5 ships already installed in both SO-DIMM slots; if you ever replace it, populate the lower slot first because the upper slot is harder to reach once the board is seated.

What maintenance will the RTX 5060 8 GB graphics subsystem need over time?

Clean the dual-fan heatsink vents every six months and repaste the GPU die if temperatures climb above the stock curve after two years of heavy loads.

Which limit appears first during a long gaming session on the 16.0" 180 Hz panel?

The GPU power ceiling of the RTX 5060 8 GB is reached before the CPU hits its 5 GHz turbo, so frame rates plateau while the processor still has headroom.
