Acer Chromebook Plus 514 14-inch Touchscreen

The Acer Chromebook Plus 514 is a 14-inch touchscreen laptop built on ChromeOS. It runs on an Intel Core 5 120U processor with 16 GB of memory and a 256 GB SSD. The WUXGA IPS display covers 1920 x 1200 resolution at 60 Hz with a matte ComfyView finish. It includes a front-facing webcam and supports the IEEE 802.11be wireless standard.

Suited for cloud-first work.

This configuration suits students and professionals who run web apps, stream media and manage documents in the browser. The 16 GB memory handles many tabs and Android apps simultaneously. Buyers who need large local libraries, heavy creative suites or Windows-only software should consider a different platform. The integrated graphics limit 3D and video rendering performance.

16 GB soldered memory decides upgrade path

The system ships with 16 GB of memory that cannot be expanded after purchase. This fixed capacity determines how many browser tabs, Linux containers or Android apps stay responsive over time. Shoppers who anticipate heavier multitasking in future years must decide at purchase whether this ceiling matches their expected workload.
