Product Identity

The Acer Chromebook Plus 514 is a 14-inch laptop running ChromeOS with an Intel Core 3 100U processor, 16 GB of memory and a 256 GB SSD. Its 1920 x 1200 WUXGA IPS display uses a matte ComfyView finish and refreshes at 60 Hz. The chassis comes in an Iron colourway with a US English keyboard.

Who It Suits

Buyers who want a lightweight ChromeOS device with all-day battery life, integrated graphics and a single HDMI output for external displays. It fits students and home users focused on web apps, streaming and light productivity. Not for buyers who need a touchscreen, a convertible form factor, discrete graphics or more than 256 GB of internal storage.

Deciding Specification

The 16 GB memory paired with the Intel Core 3 100U processor determines whether this model handles your typical multitasking load; 256 GB SSD capacity decides if the local space is sufficient for offline files and Android apps.
