Ready-to-install lamp module

The Acer P1386W projector lamp arrives as a complete assembly with a new Osram P-VIP 195W bulb already seated in its housing. This eliminates the handling of a bare lamp and lets technicians or home users swap the module in minutes without special tools. It is intended for owners of compatible Acer projectors who need a direct replacement that matches the original form factor. Buyers who require a bare bulb without the housing should look elsewhere.

195 W Osram P-VIP bulb

The single specification that determines fit is the 195 watt Osram P-VIP lamp type, which matches the electrical and optical profile specified for the P1386W module. Rated life reaches 5000 hours in standard mode and extends to 10000 hours when the projector runs in eco mode. The lamp is built to ISO9001 quality standards and undergoes checks for ignition voltage, beam performance and run-time before it leaves the factory. Projectors that call for a different wattage or lamp technology cannot use this module.

Thermal and power profile

In normal operation the 195 watt lamp draws its rated power and the projector’s cooling system manages the resulting heat; no additional fan or radiator specifications are provided for the lamp itself. Running the unit in eco mode reduces power consumption and lowers thermal load, which also contributes to the longer 10000 hour rating. Acoustic output depends on the projector’s internal fans rather than the lamp module. Ensure the projector’s air filters are clean so that the cooling path remains unobstructed.

Questions about this item
