This Acer Predator Triton 16 is a 16.0-inch gaming laptop built around an Intel Core i7 13th Gen processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU. It ships with Windows 11 Home, 16 GB of DDR5 memory and a 1 TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD. The 16:10 IPS panel delivers a 2560 x 1600 resolution, 240 Hz refresh rate and 500 nit brightness with NVIDIA G-SYNC.

Gamers and creators needing high refresh rates

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need to buy a MicroSD card separately?

The laptop ships with Windows 11 Home, a 16 GB DDR5 module and a 1 TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD already installed. The MicroSD card reader is built in but no card is included.

Should I choose the 16 GB DDR5 configuration or plan to upgrade to the 32 GB maximum?

The unit includes 16 GB DDR5 and supports up to 32 GB. For most games and creative workloads the fitted 16 GB is sufficient; add a second module later if you run heavy multitasking or virtual machines.

What does the 240 Hz 2560 x 1600 G-SYNC panel deliver in actual gameplay?

The 16 inch WQXGA IPS screen runs at 240 Hz with 500 nit brightness and NVIDIA G-SYNC. This combination removes tearing and keeps motion sharp in fast titles when the RTX 4070 GPU pushes high frame rates.
