Compact 14-inch gaming laptop

The Acer Predator Triton 300 SE packs a 12th-generation Core i7-12700H and an RTX 3060 with 6 GB GDDR6 into a 14-inch WUXGA 165 Hz panel. It targets users who need portable power for creative work and modern titles without carrying a bulky chassis.

Sustained load behaviour

Upgraded thermal materials aim to lower temperatures during extended CPU and GPU workloads, reducing throttling and keeping fan noise in check. The RTX 3060 operates at a 130 W TGP with a 1742 MHz boost clock, while the 14-core processor can reach 4.7 GHz when cooling allows.

Installation and common issues

The 16 GB LPDDR5 memory is soldered, so capacity cannot be changed after purchase. Storage uses an 8 TB M.2 PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe drive that is user-replaceable, though opening the thin chassis requires care to avoid damaging internal cables or stripping screws.
