Built for portable gaming

The Acer Predator Triton 300 SE PT314-52s-747P-HID4 is a 14-inch Windows 11 Home gaming laptop powered by a 12th Generation Intel Core i7-12700H 14-core processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 GPU with 6 GB GDDR6. It targets users who want high frame rates in a chassis weighing 3.75 lbs.

Verify power and display needs

Confirm your external monitors support the laptop's native 1920 x 1200 resolution at 165 Hz if you plan to use the built-in WUXGA IPS panel as a reference. Ensure your dock or hub can deliver sufficient power for the 130 W max TGP configuration during sustained loads.

Faster storage and thermal headroom

The builder-installed 4 TB M.2 PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe SSD replaces the stock drive to cut boot and load times. Upgraded thermal interface materials lower core temperatures and reduce fan noise under heavy CPU and GPU workloads. 16 GB LPDDR5 memory is soldered and not user-expandable.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the Predator Triton 300 SE PT314-52s-747P-HID4 and what must I buy separately?

The laptop ships with Windows 11 Home, 16 GB LPDDR5 memory soldered on board, a 4 TB M.2 PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe SSD, and the RTX 3060 with 6 GB GDDR6. No memory slots or drive bays are free, so nothing internal can be added later.

Should I choose the 16 GB LPDDR5 configuration or look for a larger memory option?

Only 16 GB LPDDR5 is offered; the memory is onboard and not upgradeable, so there is no larger capacity to select for this model.

What does the 4.7 GHz max turbo frequency mean once the i7-12700H is inside this 14 inch chassis?

The 14 core, 20 thread processor can reach 4.7 GHz on one or two cores, but sustained speeds will be lower because the thin 0.74 to 0.78 inch body shares a 130 W RTX 3060 and relies on the upgraded thermal interface material to manage heat.
