Compact Chromebook display

The Acer R857TN-P65H is a 12.2 inch IPS touchscreen built for Chromebook devices. Its 1920 by 1200 resolution panel includes an antimicrobial coating for shared environments. The display supports multi-touch input and is intended for users who need a compact, hygienic screen for education or frontline work.

Integrated 720p camera with dual microphones

A 6 mm HD camera sits above the panel and captures 1280 by 720 video at 30 fps with Temporal Noise Reduction. Blue Glass lens construction and dual 33 mm microphones handle conferencing audio. The camera module measures 78 by 6.1 by 3 mm and draws power directly from the host device without a separate supply.

Chromebook-only compatibility and slim profile

This assembly is compatible with Chromebook only and fits the CB Spin 12.2 inch N250 8G 64G CRM chassis. The thin 6.1 mm camera depth keeps the lid profile low. Buyers needing a standalone monitor, Windows Hello IR sensor, or higher-resolution webcam should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How is the antimicrobial touch display installed on the Acer R857TN-P65H?

The 12.2" 1920x1200 IPS panel is integrated into the chassis; the step users miss is ensuring the antimicrobial coating surface is not scratched during bezel removal.

What maintenance will the antimicrobial coating need over time?

Clean the 12.2" touchscreen with a soft, lint-free cloth only; avoid alcohol or abrasive cleaners that degrade the antimicrobial layer.

What limit appears first during sustained touch use?

The 12.2" IPS panel is rated for typical touch interaction; prolonged heavy use may reduce touch sensitivity before the display brightness degrades.
