Copilot+ Laptop with 3K OLED

This Acer Swift 16 AI is a new 2026 laptop built around a 16-inch 3K OLED touchscreen running at 120Hz. It uses an Intel Core Ultra X7 358H processor with a 1.9GHz base clock and 4.8GHz boost across 16 cores. The system includes 16GB of memory in a single module and a 1TB M.2 2242 SSD. Graphics are handled by Intel Arc B390.

For AI workloads and touch workflows

The 50 TOPS NPU and Copilot+ PC designation suit users who want on-device AI acceleration for local inference and Windows AI features. The 340-nit OLED touch panel at 2880 x 1800 serves creative review and direct manipulation. Buyers who need upgradeable memory beyond 16GB or discrete graphics headroom should look at larger workstation-class machines.

50 TOPS NPU for Copilot+ features

The deciding specification is the neural processing unit rated at 50 trillion operations per second. This level unlocks the full Copilot+ PC experience including Recall, live captions and local generative models. If your workflow does not rely on on-device AI throughput, a lower-NPU platform may meet your needs at lower cost.

Questions about this item

How is the 1 TB M.2 2242 SSD installed, and which screw step is often missed?

The single drive slots into the M.2 2242 connector and is secured with one retaining screw; people often forget to re-insert that screw after seating the drive.

Which component will need replacement first during the laptop's life?

The lithium-ion battery is the only user-serviceable part that degrades with charge cycles and will eventually need replacement.

What thermal limit appears first when the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H runs at 4.8 GHz boost for extended periods?

Sustained boost clocks are constrained by the cooling solution's ability to dissipate heat, causing the CPU to throttle back from 4.8 GHz to maintain safe temperatures.
