Triton 500 SE-16 gaming laptop

The Acer Triton 500 SE-16 is a 16.0 inch gaming laptop finished in Gray. It runs on an Intel Core i7 11th Gen processor with 8 cores and 16 threads, 24MB Cache, and a 4.6 GHz turbo frequency. Graphics are handled by an NVIDIA RTX 3070 Laptop GPU with 8GB GDDR6 memory. The system includes 32GB DDR4 RAM and 4TB of storage across two PCIe NVMe SSDs.

Upgrade from integrated graphics

This configuration replaces machines that rely on integrated graphics or previous-generation discrete GPUs for gaming and creative workloads. The jump is worth it when you need the 165Hz 2560x1600 display, VR Ready graphics, and 4TB of fast NVMe storage for large project files and game libraries. The 32GB DDR4 memory also removes the need for an immediate RAM upgrade.

Verify charger, OS and port requirements

Confirm that the included 230W power supply meets your workspace needs and that Windows 11 Home-64 is the intended operating system. Check that the available ports — one HDMI, two USB 3.2 Type-C Gen2, an SD card reader, Ethernet LAN, and a headphone/microphone combo jack — match your peripheral and external display setup. The 99 WHr battery and 5.4lb weight define the mobile profile.

Questions about this item

Will the 99 WHr battery last through a typical workday away from a power outlet?

The 99 WHr pack is designed for extended use; actual runtime depends on screen brightness, workload and power settings.

Does the 16.0 inch 2560x1600 165Hz display require any special cable for an external monitor?

The HDMI port supports external displays directly; no special cable is needed beyond a standard HDMI lead.

Can the two 2TB PCIe SSDs be configured as a single 4TB volume?

They appear as separate drives from the factory; combining them into one volume would require RAID setup in the OS or BIOS.
