Ready-to-install lamp module

The Acer X1261N replacement lamp ships as a complete 180W bulb-and-housing assembly. It fits directly into compatible Acer projectors without extra tools or alignment steps. Installers simply swap the old module and resume operation.

Economy mode extends usable hours

Running the lamp in Economy mode yields up to 4000 hours before replacement is due. Normal mode delivers 2500 hours. The projector’s menu setting determines which limit applies, so users choose the trade-off between brightness and longevity.

Single-lamp constraint for high-use sites

One module covers a single projector, so venues running multiple units or extended daily schedules will need a spare on hand. The 180W rating fixes both power draw and light output; there is no higher-wattage alternative in this form factor.

Questions about this item

Which version of the X1261N lamp should I choose among the OEM and compatible options?

The X1261N is offered in three OEM versions — direct from the original bulb maker, the Acer-sold unit, and an alternate OEM source — plus a lower-cost compatible made with genuine OEM parts; all meet ISO 9001 checks for ignition, voltage, beam quality and run-time.

What does the 180 W rating mean once the lamp is installed in my projector?

It draws 180 watts and delivers the brightness the projector was designed for, yielding roughly 2 500 hours in normal mode or 4 000 hours in economy mode before replacement.

What interface or standard governs the X1261N lamp and what does it cap in practice?

The lamp is built to ISO 9001 quality standards, which cap allowable variation in ignition voltage, beam performance and operational lifetime so the module works reliably in the projector.
