Questions about this item

When will the Osram P-VIP 195W bulb need replacement and what is the rated lamp life in standard mode?

The Osram P-VIP 195W bulb is rated for 5000 hours in standard mode, so plan on a replacement after that many hours of use.

What is the first limit reached during sustained operation, the 195W power draw or the 5000-hour lamp life?

The 5000-hour lamp life in standard mode is the first limit; the 195W power draw remains constant while the lamp ages toward that hour rating.

How much heat and fan noise should I expect from the 195W lamp running all day?

A 195W lamp produces significant heat, so the projector's cooling fans will run continuously at a noticeable level during all-day operation.
