Aspire 5 A515 with 2 TB NVMe

The Acer Aspire 5 A515 is a 15.6-inch notebook built around a dual-core Intel Core i3-1005G1 processor. It ships with 4 GB of DDR4 memory and a 2 TB NVMe solid-state drive. Windows 10 Pro S Mode comes pre-installed on the grey chassis.

Suits light office and study use.

This configuration suits students and office workers who need a large IPS display and abundant storage for documents and media. Buyers who run virtual machines, edit video or keep dozens of browser tabs open will find the 4 GB memory limit restrictive. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics also rules out modern gaming or GPU-accelerated rendering workloads.

4 GB soldered DDR4 cannot be upgraded

The single most important specification is the 4 GB of DDR4 memory, which is not expandable on this model. If your workflow demands more than 4 GB of RAM, this unit will bottleneck performance regardless of the fast 2 TB NVMe drive or the 1.2 GHz base and 3.4 GHz boost processor speeds.
