Acer Aspire Desktop i5-14400

The Acer Aspire desktop is a Windows 11 Home system built around a 10-core Intel Core i5-14400 processor and Intel UHD Graphics 730. It ships with 32 GB of DDR5 memory and a 2 TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD. A wired keyboard and mouse are included in the box.

Home office and general productivity

This configuration suits everyday office work, web browsing and media playback where integrated graphics are sufficient. Buyers who want more storage than 2 TB or who need discrete graphics performance for gaming or creative rendering should look at a different system.

32 GB DDR5 and 2 TB NVMe headroom

The 32 GB DDR5 capacity handles heavy multitasking and large browser workloads with room to expand to 64 GB. The 2 TB NVMe drive stores a large application library and media files; users with bigger archives will need external or additional internal storage.

Questions about this item

Do I need to buy a monitor separately to use this Acer Aspire desktop?

Yes — the system ships without a display, so you will need your own monitor with an HDMI 1.4b or HDMI 2.0 input to get a picture.

Can I keep using my current USB 2.0 keyboard and mouse with the USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports on the front or rear?

The desktop includes a wired keyboard and mouse, but the USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports are backward compatible with USB 2.0 peripherals if you prefer your own.

How can I verify the Intel UHD Graphics 730 is active after I finish setting up Windows 11 Home?

Open Device Manager, expand Display adapters and confirm Intel UHD Graphics 730 appears without a warning icon.
