Ready-to-use everyday laptop

The Acer Aspire Go 15 AG15-42P-R917 ships with Windows 11 Home on a 15.6 inch FHD display. An AMD Ryzen 7 7730U processor reaches 4.5 GHz with eight cores and sixteen threads. Integrated AMD Radeon graphics drive the 1920 x 1080 panel at 60 Hz. 64 GB of DDR4 memory and a 1 TB PCIe NVMe SSD provide ample capacity for multitasking and local files.

Who this suits and who it does not

Students and office workers who need generous memory and fast storage for documents, web apps and video calls will find the configuration ready out of the box. The RJ-45 port, WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 cover wired and wireless connectivity. Buyers who want a touchscreen or a discrete GPU for gaming or 3D rendering should look elsewhere.

The spec that decides fit

The 64 GB DDR4 SO-DIMM installation is the defining figure; it cannot be upgraded beyond this amount. If your workflow demands more memory, this unit will not meet that need.

Questions about this item

What power adapter must I already own to charge the 51 Whr battery?

The laptop ships with a 65 W power supply unit that connects to the barrel jack; no other charger is required.

Will my older USB-A 3.0 flash drives work with the USB 3.2 Type-C port?

The single USB 3.2 Type-C port accepts USB-A devices through a passive adapter or hub; legacy drives function at their rated speed.
