Core specification

Acer Aspire Go 15 laptop built on a Ryzen 7 5825U processor with eight cores and 16 threads reaching 4.5 GHz turbo. 64GB DDR4 memory and a 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD provide capacity for heavy multitasking and fast storage access. Integrated Radeon graphics drive the 15.6 inch IPS panel at 1920 x 1080 resolution and 60Hz refresh. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed.

Best fit

Suits office workers, students and remote professionals who need abundant RAM for many browser tabs, virtual machines or large spreadsheets without discrete graphics. Backlit keyboard, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3 and RJ-45 cover typical connectivity needs. Buyers who require dedicated GPU performance for gaming, 3D rendering or video encoding should look elsewhere.

Deciding factor

The 64GB DDR4 memory is the specification that determines suitability; it cannot be upgraded beyond this amount, so confirm your workload fits within that ceiling before purchase.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 64 GB DDR4 version or a smaller memory option?

The laptop ships with 64 GB DDR4 SODIMM already installed. That amount covers heavy multitasking, large spreadsheets and multiple browser tabs without hitting a ceiling.

What does the Ryzen 7 5825U 4.5 GHz boost actually deliver in daily use?

Eight Zen 3 cores and sixteen threads hit 4.5 GHz on short bursts, so compiles, video exports and heavy web apps finish quickly before the chip settles to its sustained speed.

What does the USB 3.2 Type-C port support and what speed does it cap at?

The USB 3.2 Type-C connector carries data up to 10 Gbps and drives an external display through its alternate mode, while the HDMI port handles a second screen.
