Acer Aspire Go 15 business laptop

The Acer Aspire Go 15 is a 15.6-inch Full HD laptop powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 7730U processor with 16GB DDR4 memory and a 256GB NVME SSD. It runs Windows 11 Pro and includes Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, HDMI, RJ-45 and USB Type-C 3.2 ports. The silver chassis weighs 3.5lb and measures 14.15 x 9.25 x 0.90 inches.

Sustained workload behaviour

The 8-core Ryzen 7 7730U reaches up to 4.5 GHz boost clocks while the integrated AMD Radeon graphics handle everyday visual tasks. The 45W power supply feeds the 3-cell battery during extended sessions and the fanless-style thermal design relies on the slim profile to dissipate heat. No discrete GPU is present so heavy 3D rendering will throttle quickly.

Installation and common issues

Windows 11 Pro arrives pre-installed so the laptop is ready to use after the first-boot setup. The non-backlit keyboard and 720p webcam require no driver intervention. The single 256GB NVME drive leaves no free slot for a second SSD without removing the existing one. Memory is soldered so the 16GB capacity cannot be increased later.

Questions about this item

Does the Ryzen 7 7730U run loud or hot during all-day workloads?

The 8-core processor reaches 4.5 GHz boost clocks and is cooled by the standard Aspire Go thermal system; fan noise rises under sustained load but stays within typical office-laptop levels.

What peripherals do I need to connect the single USB-C 3.2 port and HDMI 2.1 output?

The USB-C 3.2 port accepts any USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 cable or hub; the HDMI 2.1 port works with a standard HDMI cable for external displays.

Can the RJ-45 10/100/1000 Mbps jack and Wi-Fi 6 adapter run together with an older router?

Yes, the Gigabit Ethernet port and Wi-Fi 6 radio both negotiate down to 100 Mbps and 802.11ac speeds, so they coexist with legacy networking gear.
