Silver business laptop with 32 GB memory

The Acer Aspire Go 15 ships with a Ryzen 7 7730U eight-core processor, 32 GB DDR4 3200 MHz RAM and a 1 TB NVMe SSD. It runs Windows 11 Home on a 15.6 inch 1920 x 1080 IPS panel at 60 Hz. The configuration targets office workers and students who need ample memory for multitasking and fast local storage.

Sustained load on the 4.5 GHz boost clock

The 7730U can reach 4.5 GHz for short bursts but settles closer to its 2.0 GHz base during prolonged workloads. Integrated Radeon graphics share system memory, so extended rendering or video export will gradually throttle as the 15 W-class thermal budget fills. Expect consistent throughput for document-heavy workflows, not for continuous compute.

Thermals noise and power in daily use

A 3-cell lithium-ion battery is rated for up to 8 hours of mixed use. The thin 0.78 inch chassis relies on a single fan that stays quiet during browsing and video playback but spins audibly under heavy CPU load. Surface temperatures remain comfortable for lap use during typical productivity tasks. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 maintain stable wireless connections.

Questions about this item

Does the 8-core Ryzen 7 7730U stay quiet and cool during all-day workloads?

The 8-core Ryzen 7 7730U runs at a 2.0 GHz base and 4.5 GHz boost inside a 14.29 x 9.5 x 0.78 inch chassis with a 3-cell battery rated for up to 8 hours, so typical office loads remain cool and quiet.

What peripherals must I already own to use the USB-C 3.2 DisplayPort 2.0 and HDMI 2.1 outputs?

You need monitors or docks that accept DisplayPort 2.0 over USB-C 3.2 or HDMI 2.1 cables; the laptop supplies 3x USB-A 3.2, RJ45 and a headset jack for other devices.

Will my older USB 3.0 drives and 1080p 60 Hz monitor work at full speed?

Yes — USB-A 3.2 ports are backward compatible with USB 3.0 drives, and HDMI 2.1 drives a 1920 x 1080 60 Hz display without adapters.
