Acer Aspire Go 15 business laptop

The Acer Aspire Go 15 is a 15.6 inch business laptop built around an AMD Ryzen 7 7730U eight-core processor with 16GB of DDR4 memory and a 2TB NVMe solid-state drive. It ships with Windows 11 Home and includes Copilot+ PC AI features for assisted productivity. The integrated AMD Radeon graphics handle everyday visual tasks without a discrete card.

Thermals and battery in daily use

A three-cell lithium-ion battery provides up to eight hours of runtime under typical office workloads. The 250-nit IPS panel runs at 60Hz, keeping power draw modest during document work or video playback. Fan activity remains low for routine tasks, rising only when sustained multi-core loads push the 4.5GHz boost clock.

Ports and connectivity extras

One USB Type-C 3.2 port supports DisplayPort 2.0 output alongside three USB Type-A 3.2 ports, HDMI 2.1 and a Gigabit RJ45 jack for wired networks. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 handle wireless links. The chassis measures 14.29 by 9.5 by 0.78 inches and weighs 3.92 lbs. No backlit keyboard is fitted.

Questions about this item

How do I add more memory to the Aspire Go 15, and which slot do people forget to check?

The 16GB of DDR4 3200MHz RAM is soldered to the board, so no SO-DIMM slot exists; you cannot upgrade memory after purchase.

Which component will need replacement first during the laptop's life?

The 3-cell lithium-ion battery rated for up to 8 hours of use will degrade before the 2TB PCIe Gen 4x4 NVMe SSD or soldered memory.

What thermal limit appears first when the Ryzen 7 7730U runs at 4.5GHz boost for extended periods?

The integrated AMD Radeon graphics share the same cooling as the 8-core CPU, so sustained 4.5GHz loads throttle the whole package before the 250-nit display or Wi-Fi 6 are affected.
