Acer Aspire XC-1725 desktop

The Acer Aspire XC-1725 is a compact desktop PC built around an AMD Ryzen 5 7430U processor with six cores and twelve threads. It ships with 16 GB of DDR4-3200 memory and a 1 TB M.2 2280 PCIe SSD. Integrated AMD Radeon graphics handle the display output. Windows 11 Home comes pre-installed and a USB keyboard and mouse are included.

Suited for everyday home and office tasks

This system suits users who need a responsive machine for web browsing, document editing, video streaming and light multitasking. The Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity cover modern wireless peripherals and networks. Buyers who want discrete graphics for gaming or creative workloads, or who require more than 32 GB of memory, should look at a different class of desktop.

Sustained load behaviour

The 65 W AC adapter limits the power envelope, so the Ryzen 5 7430U will throttle clock speeds during prolonged heavy workloads to stay within thermal limits. Short bursts can reach up to 4.3 GHz, but extended rendering or compilation runs will settle at lower frequencies. The single DDR4 module leaves one slot free for a future upgrade to 32 GB if sustained memory bandwidth becomes a bottleneck.
