Questions about this item

Does the AX314 module include the housing so I do not need to buy a separate cage?

Yes, the AX314 lamp module is a fully assembled unit that contains the Osram P-VIP 195W bulb already fitted inside the housing, so no extra cage or separate parts are required for installation.

Which version of the AX314 should I pick if I want the original bulb maker's lamp?

Choose the OEM version sourced directly from the original bulb manufacturer for this projector; the supplier also offers the same lamp sold by Acer, an alternative OEM bulb maker version, and a lower-cost compatible made with genuine OEM parts.

What does the 5000-hour standard rating mean for daily use?

At the standard 195W setting the lamp is rated for 5000 hours; switching to ECO mode extends the rating to 10000 hours, so a typical four-hour daily session would last roughly three years in standard mode or over six years in ECO mode.
