Check Projector Compatibility Before Ordering

Verify that your Acer projector accepts the EC.J6900.001 part number before purchase. Confirm the existing lamp wattage matches the 180W specification of this module. Ensure you are comfortable replacing the lamp module yourself or have access to a technician. The product ships as a complete housing assembly for straightforward installation.

Replaces Worn or Failed EC.J6900.001 Lamps

This module replaces an original Acer EC.J6900.001 lamp that has reached its 4,000-hour rated life or suffered premature failure. The upgrade is worth it when image dimming, colour shift, or lamp warning messages interrupt presentations. Each unit undergoes ISO 9001 quality checks for beam performance, ignition, voltage, and run-time. It restores factory-spec brightness without requiring a new projector.

Questions about this item

Does the lamp module arrive fully assembled or do I need to fit the 180W bulb into the housing myself?

The module includes a new P-VIP 180W bulb already installed in the housing, so it is ready to fit straight into the projector.

What are the differences between the three OEM versions and the compatible version offered for this part number?

Three OEM versions come from the original bulb maker, from Acer, and from another OEM bulb maker; the compatible version uses genuine OEM parts from a leading third-party manufacturer.

What does the 4,000-hour rating mean for everyday use?

It is the manufacturer’s rated lamp life under standard operating conditions; actual hours will vary with usage patterns and projector settings.
