Acer EV-X62 projector lamp

The Acer EV-X62 is a complete replacement lamp module designed for compatible Acer projectors. It arrives with a new Osram P-VIP bulb already mounted in its housing, so the unit is ready to fit without extra assembly. This product suits owners of the matching projector models who need a direct, factory-specification light source.

Easy installation with housing included

Because the bulb comes pre-assembled in the housing, installation typically takes only a few minutes and requires no special tools. The main risk is touching the glass envelope with bare fingers, which can shorten lamp life; always handle the module by the housing frame. Ensure the projector has cooled completely before starting the swap.

140–215 W output and rated hours

In normal mode the lamp is rated for 3,000 hours and in economy mode for 4,000 hours, giving a clear window for planning replacements. Brightness will gradually decline as those limits approach, and colour uniformity may shift near end of life. The module is not suited for users who need longer intervals between changes or higher lumen output than the specified wattage range provides.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the EV-X62 lamp is performing correctly after installation?

Check the projector menu for the lamp-hour counter resetting to zero and confirm brightness is stable at the rated 140-215W output during normal or economy mode.

What comes with the EV-X62 module and is anything else required?

The unit ships as a complete assembly with the Osram P-VIP bulb already fitted inside the housing, so no extra parts are needed for installation.

Which EV-X62 version should I pick — OEM Osram, OEM Acer, alternate OEM or compatible?

All four versions meet ISO9001 quality checks for ignition, voltage and run-time; choose the OEM Osram or Acer-sourced module for original-spec performance, or the compatible version for a lower-cost option using genuine OEM components.
