Questions about this item

How much heat does the 195W P-VIP lamp add to the room during all-day use?

The lamp draws 195 watts, so it releases roughly that much heat while running. Most projectors vent it through internal fans; keep the vents clear and allow normal airflow around the unit.

What must I already own for the H6517ABD module to work?

You need an Acer projector that accepts the MC.JN811.001 lamp module. The housing is pre-assembled, so no separate bulb, tools or adapters are required beyond the projector itself.

Will the 5000/10000 hour lamp life still be reached if I keep using my older Acer projector?

Yes — lamp life is rated at 5000 hours in standard mode and 10000 hours in eco mode regardless of projector age, provided the cooling system is clean and the projector powers the lamp correctly.
