Built for fast play

This Acer Nitro 17 gaming laptop pairs an AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS 8-core processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 8GB GDDR6 graphics card. The 17.3 inch Full HD IPS display runs at 165Hz for smooth motion. 32GB DDR5 memory and a 1TB PCIe SSD provide capacity for current titles and multitasking. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed.

Check power and ports

Verify that your usual peripherals match the available connections: one HDMI 2.1 output, two USB Type-A 3.2 ports, one USB Type-C 3.2 port, an RJ-45 jack and a combo audio socket. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro, so confirm any legacy software you rely on is compatible with that operating system.

Wireless and input upgrades

WI-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 replace older wireless standards for lower latency and wider bandwidth. A backlit keyboard improves visibility in dim environments. The integrated webcam supports video calls without an external camera. No SD card reader is included, so plan for a USB adapter if you transfer media from cards.

Questions about this item

Does the laptop ship with the 32GB DDR5 and 1TB PCIe SSD already installed, or do I need to buy and fit them myself?

The 32GB DDR5 memory and 1TB PCIe solid-state drive are factory-installed; no separate purchase or installation is required.

The model lists a single 1TB PCIe SSD — is there a larger capacity or a second drive option I should pick instead?

Only the 1TB PCIe SSD is offered for this configuration; no alternative capacity or dual-drive option is available.

The panel is advertised at 165Hz — will I actually see that refresh rate in games running on the RTX 4060 8GB GDDR6?

The 17.3" 1920x1080 IPS display runs at 165Hz natively, and the RTX 4060 8GB GDDR6 can drive supported titles at that refresh rate.
