Ready for competitive play

The Acer Nitro V 15 targets gamers who want high frame rates on a 15.6 inch FHD panel running at 165Hz. An Intel Core i5-13420H with 8 cores and 12 threads pairs with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 6 GB GDDR6 for smooth 1080p performance. 64GB DDR5 4800 memory and a 1TB PCIe SSD keep load times short and multitasking fluid. Windows 11 Home and an Office 2021 license ship pre-installed.

Connectivity built for a desk setup

One USB-C Thunderbolt 4 port handles 40Gbps data, power delivery and DisplayPort 1.4 for an external monitor. Three USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports add 5Gbps peripherals while HDMI 2.1 drives a second screen. RJ-45 gives wired LAN stability and a combo audio jack covers headsets. MediaTek Wi-Fi 6 MT7920 with Bluetooth 5.1 handles wireless when cables are not practical.

Upgraded memory and storage out of the box

The factory seal is opened by engineers to install 64GB DDR5 and a 1TB PCIe SSD before the laptop ships. That means the buyer receives a machine already configured for heavy multitasking and large game libraries without opening the chassis. A 1-year warranty covers the upgraded RAM and SSD alongside the original manufacturer warranty on remaining components.

Questions about this item

Will the 250-nit panel limit visibility in bright rooms?

The 15.6-inch FHD IPS screen peaks at 250 nits with 45% NTSC coverage, so it is best suited for indoor lighting rather than direct sunlight.

How loud or hot does the chassis get during long gaming sessions?

The i5-13420H runs up to 4.6 GHz Turbo and the RTX 4050 draws power through a single fan design; expect noticeable fan noise and warm surface temperatures under sustained load.

What must I already own to use the Thunderbolt 4 port for an external display?

You need a Thunderbolt 4 or USB4 cable and a monitor that accepts DisplayPort 1.4 over USB-C to drive video through the 40Gbps port.
